Guilin Green Building Training in China

Within the framework of Europe-China Eco Cities Link (EC-LINK) project, a Green Building Training has been organized and taken place in City Guilin, China. Guest speakers from the Municipality of The Hague, the Netherlands and from Stuttgart, Germany have presented their strategy and cases about green building promotion & implementation in Europe. Moreover, Chinese experts from the Department Building Energy and Science &Technology of Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, from institute of southern provinces in China have also given presentations on Green building development, trend and new techniques in China.

The Green Building Training aims to identify not only policies schemes, but also technical measures and strategies for technical implementation campaigns in European & Chinese cities that are relevant for the Chinese context in order to initiate relevant inter city exchange.

More than 300 participants have attended training. They are municipal administrators & technical staffs from ten Chinese pilot cities and from Guilin city and its’ surrounding. Some high level officials from EU delegation & Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development have also attended the training.
