Training for China Ministry Nature and Resources

Cooperated with AVANS University, we have carried out the training for China Ministry of Nature Resources from 4 November to 15 November 2024. The training is for 22 government officers from different Chinese cities’ Land Use Governance and Administration department, the goal is to get to know Dutch land & resources governance and administration policy, in related to climate change and adaptation.

During the training, the delegation has visited Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water management, Deltares, Amsterdam Waternet, Municipality Rotterdam, Amsterdam. Chinese colleagues and Dutch experts (from above organizations, Netherland Environmental Agency and Municipality the Hague) exchanged experiences and have had a lot of discussions.

Besides, under the guidance of East & West Urban Consultancy, the delegation has visited many projects concerning social housing renovation, city old industry areas’ re-development, eco-city area’s development, resilient city development and Water management projects. The delegation has had a fruitful visit.
